Rolling stove-lids

The play from Podlasie. Stove-lids (round metal hoops from old tiled stoves) were rolled with a long hook (made ​​of wire) from the starting line to the finish line (drawn on the sand). The winner was the person who was the first to cross the finish line without dropping stove-lid to the ground.

There will be new, modernized versions of old games and backyard plays which sometimes will go beyond the literal interpretation. Traditional games will be an inspiration, "new games" more or less free interpretation.
