A woman in the pit

The play from Podlasie, frequent during potato - liftings. Participants dig a pit for a person, who goes inside it, when the rest of the players say counting-out rhyme. The other players march around the pit. The task of the “woman in the pit” is to pull one of the marching participants in the pit.

There will be new, modernized versions of old games and backyard plays which sometimes will go beyond the literal interpretation. Traditional games will be an inspiration, "new games" more or less free interpretation.
